Wednesday, March 21st, 2012

So, we’ll be sponsoring some beer injections and snacks on the 29th of March. All you have to do is show up. Since the venue has limited places however, we do need you to register beforehand.

It will be held at the Fence in Farringdon, which is within walking distance from the Barbican Center where DevWeek is held. Starts at 6:30, after the conference.

You don’t have to be present at DevWeek to attend. This is open to anyone that registers.

Hurry up as the number of places are limited and they are going fast!

NDC 2011–We’ll be there!

Tuesday, May 31st, 2011

image

For the 3rd year in a row, we are going to NDC!

NDC is one of those conferences that includes different topics and technologies. There’s a good mix of .NET, JavaScript, Ruby, Java and general Architecture and Process related talks. As such, it’s a great fit for JetBrains. This year we have a bigger booth and more things to show you.

We’ll have Eugene from TeamCity team there. If you want to learn more about what’s new in TeamCity 6.5 or the upcoming features we are working on for NuGet support, it’s your chance to pick his brains. Ruslan, from the dotCover team will also be there, showing off the latest and greatest in dotCover 1.1, as well as Valery who can help you with any and all questions related to YouTrack! And with the upcoming release of version 3, you’ll really want to check it out!

We’re also lucky enough to coincide with not one, not two, but three! Academy Members at this conference: Udi Dahan, Sebastian Lambla and Donald Belcham. I’ll be there also, giving two talks: one on dealing with legacy code and another on Dynamic in a static world. The rest of the time you can find me at the booth.

We are also looking into potentially have a Ninja Workshop on Tips and Tricks for ReSharper. This was prompted by a conversation some of us were having on Twitter, and after running an informal poll, quite a bit of interest was shown. It’s still under talks to see if it will be possible. However, I do ask, whether you’ve already replied on Twitter or this is the first time you’ve heard about it, if we were to hold this (probably one hour) session during a time where it does not overlap with other sessions, would you be interested in attending? If so, please leave a comment here. Please note that nothing is definite yet so it might not go ahead (although we’re hoping it will).

See you there!

Munich Open Day

Monday, February 21st, 2011

Last Friday, we held an Open Day in Munich, to celebrate the opening of our new offices in the city. It was an opportunity to get to know our users and the Developer community in the Munich area, as well as for our users to meet some of our developers face to face.

It was a great evening, where we talked about some of our existing tools, our upcoming plans, and in general just spending a laid back evening with everyone.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to all of you who came and hope that you enjoyed the gathering. Please know that our doors are always open.

We took a whole bunch of pictures from the night as well as our offices. To see them, please visit our Facebook page.

CodeMash, here we come!

Monday, January 3rd, 2011

image

What is there to do in Sandusky, Ohio, in the middle of Winter with sub-zero temperatures and snow? Well CodeMash of course, which takes place from the 12th to the 14th of January.

JetBrains is not only Adamantium sponsor, but will also be there! We will have a booth and a vendor session where we’ll show some of the upcoming features in ReSharper 6 as well as some of our other tools.

I’d love to say that if you’ve not signed up to CodeMash, make sure you do, but it would be useless. They sold out on the 3rd day! So if you’re one of the lucky ones that has a ticket, please stop by and say hello!

Our vendor Session will be on Thursday from 3 pm. I’ll also be doing a session on CouchDB on Thursday at 4:50 pm.

This is the first of a series of great events planned for 2011, so stay tuned!

Happy New Year!
