Matthew, for the Wildfire configuration issues, please contact the Jive Software Support.
If the problem is concerned with IntelliJ IDEA itself, the JetBrains support team will be glad to help you.

I am trying to set up Wildfire locally to use as a Jabber host for our company, where we are using IDETalk in IDEA 6.0. However, when users log into Wildfire, they cannot see each other in IDETalk, unless they enter specific users' ID's to make them appear. Is it possible to configure wildfire and/or IDETalk so all online users show up automatically when someone logs in? I already looked at the wildfire website, but am no closer to a solution.

Thanks

IntelliJ IDETalk works fine both with this server and any other server you want to communicate through, so it's purely your personal option what server you choose. I want to also clarify that yes, this is partnership promotion, without any tricks. Since the IntelliJoin server is dedicated to IntelliJ IDEA you may look into the future for the features providing for more effective collaboration from within IntelliJ IDEA.

I tried, but haven't find anything really useful. Along with your answer it really look like just a promotional trick... So, if you know anything, please share with your users.

As I said, all the details about the Wildfire server are available at Jive Web site, so you can probably find the answer there.

As far as I see, the main advantage of registering the account at intellijoin.org is that you are getting your communication through the server running Wildfire and so benefit from its features. You can find more details about Wildfire at http://www.jivesoftware.com/products/wildfire
