IntelliJ IDEA battles IDE challengers at JUG Cologne Shootout
July 2nd, 2007 by KingbeeJoin us July 3rd in Köln (Cologne), Germany as we go head-to-head against NetBeans, Oracle, and Eclipse at JUG Cologne’s first-ever IDE Shootout. JUG Cologne leader, Michael Hüttermann, invited us and the other IDE panelists to give a 30-minute presentation each, followed by a 60-minute open panel discussion.
Watch as JetBrains‘ own Maxim Shafirov, Mike Aizatsky, and Ann Oreshnikova demonstrate why IntelliJ IDEA is the most intelligent IDE.
The free event takes place at the University of Cologne (Auditorium III Physikalische Institute) and doors open at 5:00 p.m. Seating is limited so arrive early or register at https://www.xing.com/app/events?op=detail;id=124526;from=home
If you’re interested in meeting up with the guys who’ve helped shape IntelliJ IDEA into what it is today, come by, say hi, and maybe make some plans for a beer and a good conversation on the day after the event

Thanks for the comment, t800t8. The following link shows how to import an Eclipse project into IntelliJ IDEA: http://blogs.jetbrains.com/idea/2007/04/maintaining-common-project-configuration-in-a-mixed-ide-team/

So, how did it go? There can we find slides and/or a summary of the panel discussion? There is none at http://jugcologne.org.
