Features are great, but performance is the BIG issue. I have to disable a lot of plugins (DB, J2EE, Hibernate) to be able to use IDEA 9 for our large webapp.

Memory usage on 64-bit linux systems is atrocious even after considering the usual 64-bit overhead.

geekycoder,
which version of IDEA do you use? Code formatting for JSNI methods should work in IDEA X EAP builds.

@ylluminate Flash profiler is currently in development. We'll make a blog post as soon as it's ready to be included in the build.

Hi,
another good feature to have for intellijX is for support for code beautfing in the GWT's jsni method. It will be useful to be able to format those javascript in those java wrapper method especially jsni is heavily used for GWT development.

// Example of jsni method.
    public native static boolean isHtml5FileDndSupported()
    /*-{
        // Check for the various File API support.
if (window.File && window.FileReader && window.FileList && window.Blob) {
  // Great success! All the File APIs are supported.
} else {
  alert('The File APIs are not fully supported in this browser.');
}

    }-*/;

thx
