Announcing the brand new JetBrains Apparel Store!
December 23rd, 2010 by Eugenia DubovaFrom now on, we not only eat our own dog food - we also wear our own T-Shirts. Join in on the fun today!
We are still tuning and polishing the design of the store, but you can already shop with us and get holiday presents for your favorite developers (yourself included)!
More T-Shirts and other cool stuff are coming soon.
Please send us your feedback on our apparel store to jetbrains-at-ptxstore-dot-com or submit an issue in our bug tracker.
Happy holidays!
Your JetBrains Team

I wish you would start fixing all these annoying longstanding IDEA bugs instead of adding apparel and other useless things.

BTW, the guys on the picture are (from left to right): Yegor Yarko, QA Engineer at TeamCity; Dmitry Jemerov, PyCharm Lead developer; Anna Povergo, QA Engineer at RubyMine; Kirill Falk, QA Lead at .NET Team; Maxim Mazin, Senior Meta-Developer at YouTrack.

Terrific! Couple ideas:
1) You should consider selling polos. I love good polos. Everybody loves polos.
2) More tools should be covered
(PyCharm, …)
3) More generic CS jokes with connotations to specific JB product features in mind (refactorings? TDD?)
4) A conversion coefficient between valid reported bugs and T-Shirts has to be established. Don’t set it too low and there should be some strict criterion for the bugs to qualify, otherwise as a nasty side effect you are going to be flooded with low quality reports
He-he.

Thanks for a great product!

I like your shirts (especially the dead code ones :D), but I’ll rather wait until you are done with all items. Shipping to Europe is not cheap, and it won’t get cheaper, if paid twice

How about crowdsourcing the shirt and logo design by developers who use Jetbrains tools. A winner in any category ( for RubyMine, Intellij, Youtrack , etc) will win a copy of a jetbrains tool of their own choice…

@sam Thanks for letting us know. We informed our service provider about this issue, and they are working on it. In the meantime, it may help to log in from different computer. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.

Seriously guys IDEA is cracking with ever ibcreasing number of bugs and you still think this stuff will boost your sales. Very sad to lose product that was once top quality. I am sad.

Alexey,
Of course the goal of the apparel store is not to boost our sales, but to let users who do value our products express their appreciation. And of course, the apparel store didn’t take any resources from the development team, and doesn’t stand in the way of fixing bugs in IntelliJ IDEA.

I would buy a shirt with only the IDEA logo, the blue one with the orange circle, on the front. Maybe have it say “Develop with Pleasure!” on the back. Like the one on the left here: http://www.jetbrains.com/img/banners/apparelStore.png
I think that would sell well.

I also would buy an IntelliJ IDEA t-shirt that simply had the product’s logo and slogan. And also with the company’s name or logo included.
